They perform the following functions: <\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Warehouse<\/strong>, since a large amount of food is dumped into them and stored in optimal conditions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Channeling,<\/strong> since the food is supplied through the lower dispensers and is deposited on the lower trays from which the animal will eat.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Components of a hopper<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The design of a hopper is structured in three parts:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Outer casing<\/strong> (inverted cone shape)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Discharge system <\/strong>(where the food will come out)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lid for the discharge system<\/strong> (which prevents food from continuing to be dispensed when we want to cut off the flow)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Types of metal hoppers for farms<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The most common material on the market for <a href=\"https:\/\/bmm.es\/en\/feeders-hoppers\/\">animal feed hoppers<\/a> is that they are made of <strong>sufficiently durable and food-safe materials<\/strong>. That&#8217;s why <strong>stainless steel<\/strong> is commonly used, as it offers excellent performance, including: <\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><strong>Great durability<\/strong>, since stainless steel is resistant to corrosion caused by humidity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>High safety,<\/strong> since from a food perspective, it is a surface where bacteria cannot proliferate, guaranteeing the good condition of the food and preventing contamination by external pathogens.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Depending on the customer&#8217;s needs, hoppers can come in different sizes. justify;\">The most technologically advanced models have an automated system that regulates the unloading and dosing
